It's amazing how she can fall asleep in the safety of his arms. It's crazy how without him her mind plays games of defiance with her. It's wonderful how he is the one person who drives her up the wall and at the same time make her laugh at the darkest of moments.

She lies with eyes closed, heart calm and mind clear. She feels him watching her, the way her breathing settles, the way her lips twitch and the way her chest rises and falls. She doesn't want to move, the moment seems simply beautiful. As he tucks her in softly she feels an unimaginable presence of hope.
